Preserving One Finnish American Society Story
Mary Haarmann was an accomplished Musician, Professional Genealogist & a very dear friend of mine. Mary passed away in 2025, but before she passed away, as an Officer of FAS Milwaukee, she asked me to Deliver 25+ Historical Finnish American Society of Milwaukee binders to the FFN Finnish American Heritage Center, to add to their permanent Archive.
Mary protected and treasured the historical binders dated 1964-2022
It was important to Mary and to her devoted husband Bruce that the documents, stories, and the legacy of FAS Milwaukee will be protected, and that the culture of the Milwaukee Immigrants & Founders are preserved for future generations.
